In February we learned how special we are to God and how much He loves us. In March we will be learning about all kinds of animals He made and a special promise. We will also share the story of Easter and what God did for us because He loves us. Easter can be a hard concept for little ones but the message we want to get across is that God loves us so much there is nothing He wouldn’t do for us. We have a lot of upcoming events so please make sure to look over this newsletter so you don’t miss out on anything!

Shot Records!
Any students with a birthday between February and May will need to remember to request a new Physical Form (yellow form) and Shot Record (blue form) when they take their child for their annual physical. Please turn in the new forms to the Preschool Office to keep your child’s information current.

VPK Round-Up
If your child is an upcoming VPK student, please be sure to read all of the documentation you will be receiving in early March about VPK Round-Up. Registration is the morning of March 22 from 9:00—11:00 am.. By coming that day, you will be able to obtain the certificate the State gives for your child to attend VPK as opposed to having to go to another location. Be sure you read what documentation you need. Please bring it to us before that day so we can copy it and make the process go smoother for you.

Katie Kaufman Photography
On March 22nd and 23rd, Katie Kaufman will be taking your child’s photos this year. She will be available for sibling pictures both mornings from 8:00—8:45 am. You will not need to send your child in special clothing as they are meant to be candid, black and white photos. We are sure you are going to love them! Katie will be sending home an order form with 2 proofs on it for you to choose from. You will then order what prints and sizes you would like.

2 and 3-year Old Openings for Fall 2010!
We have openings in the fall for our 2 and 3-year old programs. If you have any friends or family that would like to join our great Preschool please have them call the Preschool Office to reserve a spot. Remember, all of our 3-year olds are guaranteed a spot in our VPK Program the following year.

Scholastic Book Fair!
Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be coming March 15– 19. It will be located in E109 in the main Preschool Building again this year. We are having a 50’s theme!! We are still looking for volunteers. If you are interested in working a shift please stop by the Preschool Office to sign up. If you are looking to buy books for spring break or summer this is the time to stock up! More details will be coming your way.

Noah’s Ark 3-year old Program
This special evening is for our 3 year old students and their families. Make sure to mark your calendars for Friday evening, March 19, at 7:00 pm. Please plan to drop your child off at their classroom by 6:30 and proceed to the sanctuary. Teachers will take the children back to their classrooms for you to pick them up there. Please join us outside the front entrance of the church for cupcakes and juice. The children are already excited to perform for you!

Voting Booth
Results are in and our student body went to the polls and voted on the RED for next year’s Bible Lunch shirt.
Each child cast their ballot and walked away wearing a sticker to show they voted.
