Edwards -
Preschool Director
Janet Edwards has been working in childcare for almost
20 years. She served as Director at Parkway Weekday Preschool
Program for over 10 years where, along with a staff of
45, she provided the community with a nurturing, learning
environment for their children. It was often said by the
public schools where those children funneled into, that
they could spot the children that had attended Parkway.
That was to the credit of the gifted teaching staff and
an overall passion to serve families and children in a
positive way. She recently served as Director of Wesley
Child Development Center, a full-time center sponsored
by First
United Methodist Church of Downtown Orlando for 2 1/2 years.
There she opened a branch center and also participated
in a major renovation and relocation program of the main
campus. She is on the Advisory Council for the Early Childhood
program at Orlando Tech. She is driven by the need to offer
quality childcare in Orlando.

Macheske - Finance & Student Registration
Christa Macheske. I have been happily married to my husband
Paul since 1990. Being raised Air Force, it is wonderful
to say that Oviedo has been home since 1995. In the fall
of 1995, I came to UCP as a parent of two-year-old, Mitchell.
I volunteered at all of the day/evening events and loved
the Christian environment that was given to both my son and
myself. My daughter, Madison, entered UCP in 1998, and I
began to substitute as needed. The following year I came
onto Staff and have found a wonderful Christian family that
grows with each passing year. I have always volunteered at
my children’s schools, but my heart is at UCP. I believe
there is a gift that can be given to a young child that is
so easily accepted with no doubts, and UCP is an excellent
opportunity to instill in a child a love for our savior Jesus
Christ. I look forward to every day and am thankful every
night for all that I have. I look forward to each new year. |

Program Coordinator
I am excited to start my first year here at UCP! I have
an amazing husband and 2 great children that I have stayed
home with over the last 5 years. Both of my children have
attended UCP and it has been a wonderful experience. I have
seen how much the teachers and staff love and nurture the
children with their teaching. This program offers so many
different experiences for the children. I have always felt
that God had gifted me administratively and this job has
been the perfect fit. As I venture back into working, I cannot
think of a better place to start, right here surrounded by
your children. |
