Cindy Rivadenyra - M/W - PE Teacher

After many years in the professional world dong things such as managing a major fitness corporation, airline public relations agent, flight attendant and traveling to exciting and wonderful places, I decided to marry and start a family.

I moved to Orlando in 1997 with my husband Rick, and now we have two wonderful daughters ages 10 and 5. It is my five year old that motivated me to get back to the real world. I loved being a stay-at-home Mom, but the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of people and seeing my baby interact outside our home was not an opportunity that I was going to pass. For this I am grateful and proud to be part of the staff here at University Carillon.

Margo Cook - Science

I was born in Lorain Ohio but quickly moved to Florida at just six weeks old.  I grew up in south Florida and moved to Orlando after I was married.  I went to college in Tallahassee FL at Florida State University.  I began my teaching career in the middle school setting.  I taught eighth grade science until I had my first child.  I have been a full time mom until this past year when I was asked  to support a 2's class at UCP. I love it.  It is such a wonderful family.  I feel that God has really blessed me by bringing me to this wonderful school.  Being part of the pre-k program this year will be very exciting.  Some things I like to do outside of school are  gardening, horseback riding and fishing.  Our family loves to be outside.

Sheri Dyer - T/Th/F - PE Teacher

My goals have changed since becoming a parent, which lead me to pursue my CDA certification.  Upon graduation at the University of South Dakota and completion of my Certified Public Accounting (CPA) licensing, I moved to Minnesota. Shortly after becoming a full time mother, I had my second child and for the next few years I remained at home focusing 100% on them.

As time permitted, I involved myself as a volunteer in community activities that involved children.  These activities guided me to pursue a new career in childhood education.  I started volunteering in the public school system and at a children’s shelter managed by the Children’s Home Society.   I also taught Sunday school at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and joined their LWML organization.

After both my children started school full-time, I became a certified substitute teacher for Seminole County Public Schools.  For two years I taught K – 5th grade classes at Carillon Elementary and Partin Elementary.  I truly enjoyed the experience and when a part-time position became available at University Carillon Preschool, I jumped at the chance to work in a Christian church teaching preschoolers!  I worked/played as a support teacher for two years and then took over the P.E. coaching position. I love it and hope to continue for many years.

Sheryl Muise - Music

I was born and raised in Orlando and graduated from Boone High School in 1983, and from UCF in 1988 with an accounting degree. After a few years of working in Payroll at Lockheed Martin, I married my wonderful husband Bob, and we relocated to Panama City Beach Florida. Before long we started a family and I was a Stay-at-Home Mom for the next 13 years.

When we moved to Oviedo in 1998, we were so happy to find University Carillon United Methodist Church "just down the street”. We stopped in originally to see about putting our 4-yr-old in preschool and when the phone rang with the news that Alan got in, we had a church home!

My three children are teenagers now and we love living here in Oviedo. We are active members of UCUMC and I sing on the praise and worship team. I began teaching music at UCP the Fall of 2004, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to sing and dance and praise God with all of our precious students and teachers. I am truly blessed!
